This webpage is made in honor of Rob Green in Nova Scotia, Canada, by two American girls who have a flare for HTML and are unable to deny a challenge. On Aril 28th, 2008, they finally finished this webpage and it is only by a mere coincidence that this date is also his birthday. Rob Green has only been overshadowed in his life by Chuck Norris. Otherwise he has become the icon of chivalry, the beacon of hope and the light of women everywhere. One day, the two American girls were shocked to discover that he was not on Wikipedia and set out to change the fate of the internet forever. Wikipedia, on the road to quickly becoming a credible source, requires sources to back up a new article. Seeing as Rob Green has been around before the invention of the internet (i.e. he designed the pyramids of Giza), it has been impossible to accurately record his life. In order to prove to the hard workers of Wikipedia, the two girls proceeded to make a web page in honor of his life. | |
April 28th, 2008 at 10:45 Rob's time: Unfortunately, Wikipedia is much faster than we anticipated. Upon the creation of the web page, they informed us that "the page may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion as pure vandalism". Sure enough, within seconds of the page's publication it was deleted. While this is a sad day for the two American girls who have failed the infamous Rob Green, we leave this web page for him and as a dedication to the article about him that was in Wikipedia for a few seconds. Here is a screen cap of the facts about him that were used for the page (which can be seen at the top of this webpage upon hitting refresh), a memento to our efforts. Happy Birthday Rob Green!! | ||
